Hello, my name is Nathan Berg. And I am a freshman from Bettendorf High School. My favorite color is blue or gray. Some things I like to do are play sports, play video games, and read.

Three Cups Drawing

Self portrait
This is a drawing of three cups. My goal was to have the 4 basics of composition. I did well on formatting the cups on the paper. But I didn't balance the cups very well.
My self portrait was pretty easy. I thought that my background was good and also my hair. The only thing that was hard was the nose. Overall I think that my proportions and background was the best part of the picture.
Line Quality Drawing
I drew this one so I could use different lines with my pencil. I put the glares on the drawing so it would make the vase look better. The rope at the bottom was hard to draw though.
Still Life Drawing
One Point Perspective Drawing
I drew this so I could get more line quality and value. I used different lines with my pencil so it would give it more value. I also used Da Vincis 6 parts of light on my objects.
2 Point Perspective Drawing
Gray Paper Drawing
For this drawing a did a lot of the work on the details of the building and the perspective part of it too. I think I did well on the perspective and the sides of the building. I could've done better on the anatomy part of the drawing but it was hard to incorporate it in.
Choice Drawing
I feel that this drawing had good composition and color values. The hardest part of the drawing was blending the light and dark colors. Also making the eyes symmetrical. I could have done better on making the dark and light spots on the back of cheetah look more real. Or drawn the fur on it.
This is my one point perspective drawing. I thought that the details on the railroad tracks are the best part of the drawing. I also thought that the shadows were a lot better than my last drawing. Although my fence was bad and not very accurate. I think that I demonstrated a good understanding of composition.
